I love BBWs – part 3

Hey there.  Want to see my big blue pole?  Waitwait come back why are you running away? To be fair, things can get a little freaky at Castle Šiknaspyris. What you’re looking at is unit number one.  She’s not perfect.  She’s not the prettiest.  And perhaps it has hair in places that’s slightly odd.  But it’s time you pulled the trigger and she’s willing.  And that makes her special.   The back of ‘er.   Read more…

I love BBWs – part 2

It usually starts with a really weirdkinky fetish, and this time is no different.  For some reason or another I wanted a really really solid alpha-unit of a fence.  After doing some slight maths followed by even slighter maths assigning the cost I realized that I was perfectly a-ok with a beta-unit of a fence.  This is of course still heads and shoulders above the omega-non-unit that is a standard stick-in-the-mud fence. As was demonstrated Read more…

I love BBWs – part 1

I think this is my new favorite image macro (it’s not a meme, you savage!) It very succinctly represents … life (not to put too much pressure on your comic, Van Oktop).  The devil, as they say in platitude college, is in the details.  Smart people choose to undertake endeavors where the details are on the less laborious side.  Other people choose to jam out with their dog to to Snap! on a Saturday night.  Read more…

From the ‘you’re not paranoid if they’re really out to get you’ department

An opt-out “service” from Amazon that turns every single Amazon device on your network into a Trojan Horse. From ars technica (whatever the appropriate capitalization is)   https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2021/05/amazon-devices-will-soon-automatically-share-your-internet-with-neighbors/   The next update will not have an opt-out feature.  In order to improve customer service for you.  This is all for your benefit.  Trust us.  We’re here to help you. There is not enough ways to shout “I told you so”.   To quote Bill Hicks… Read more…

Fence with some chest hair

I haven’t tried to peddle fuck-ups as wisdom for a while because I’ve been designing and implementing a fence with some chest hair. After doing some fancy arithmetic documented in the previous posts, it becomes very apparent why a fence that complies with code has 6 inch gate posts.  And just in case you doubt me, and you very well should because I’m just some rando on the Internet, I can can tell you that Read more…

[REDACTED] Business self install kit

I decided to upgrade my home internet to “business” internet because of many reasons that deserve their own post.  I am providing my own cable modem so I was kind of curious what the “self install kit” entails.  Well I’m curious no more. What am I supposed to do with that coax for ants? Where exactly am I supposed to plug that in? I guess between the cable modem and the wall jack? I bought Read more…

🖕 Harbor Freight coupons 🖕

I got a 20% off Harbor Freight coupon and got unreasonably gitty.  I have been eyeing the 20 ton press and 20% off off ANY SINGLE ITEM* was something I felt was worth waiting for. But wait, what is that excitement tempering asterisk?  I have reformatted for readability: *Cannot be used with other discount, coupon or any of the following items or brands: Inside Track Club membership Extended Service Plan gift card open box item Read more…

Math + facts = suck

In the last post I did some basic arithmetic to see if the system as designed should be able to measure 110F.  This post is about verifying the physical reality to see if matches the pristine mathematical theory. To turn the VICTD into temperature in Kelvin the function is below.  We know this from the previous post. $$T_K = V_{ICTD} \times 10^3 $$ Measuring the output of the probe I get a reading of 0.30111V.  Read more…
